Alabastron Journal Volume 1 (Culture of Olfaction)

Sterling Jones is one of the contributors to the first volume of Alabastron Journal, a scent culture publication created by The Institute of Art and Olfaction. She wrote about her experience and culture as a Black Southern woman and how Scent embraces Black American communities in the South. She explores olfaction’s role in culture, community, and the formation of self in Black Southern Olfaction Culture in the United States.
