Makeup is another part of a routine that inspires you. Out of the many products out there, you can create many different looks from the most simple products. While traveling, the goal is to have a look that is easy to do and easy to travel. We decided to look in our makeup bag and give you the five things you need in your travel makeup bag.
Foundation
For makeup, it’s great to have an even base. To start, we love to use a foundation like Fenty Pro’Filter Soft Matte Longwear Foundation and Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation. Each foundation is great to cover up dark spots and it’s a buildable formula that does not feel too heavy. We even reviewed how Rihanna’s new foundation change the undertone of foundations today. We tend to stick with one foundation during the trip.
Eyeshadow
We love to have a few neutral eyeshadows on hand for any look. From liquid eyeshadows like Glossier Lidstar to Urban Decay eyeshadows, we like to keep it simple and small for travel. Two to three shades are best in a travel kit for convenience and a quick routine.
Brows
We are lovers of brow products. Brows can define your whole face and change your look from sweet to sassy. As lovers of brow gels, we recommend Glossier Boy Brow and Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Gel. To define the brows, we like Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Ultra-Fine Shape & Define Pencil and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil. We tend to carry a brow gel and a brow pencil in our bags.
Mascara
A little flick of mascara can brighten up your whole look. Making sure that you look awake and vibrant is essential for traveling. Some of our favorites include the Glossier Lash Slick and Benefit Cosmetics They are Real! Mascara. If you are going for a natural look, the Glossier mascara is perfect. For a bold look, grab the Benefit mascara for a volumizing lash. We recommend being two mascaras for the two looks.
Lipstick
Putting on a little lipstick can change your whole day. From a bold red to a pink nude, we are all about lipsticks here at TBS. Some of our favorites include the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint, Mented Cosmetics Semi-Matte Lipstick, and the Dior Lip Glow. We love matte to hydrating lipsticks so, we generally carry three to five different colors in our bag. Each lipstick is for a different occasion.
Building your travel makeup bag is a must. You may find products in countries other than your own that may become your holy grails. Save some space from your products at home and buy as you travel.
