Traveling is an experience that can be great or a bit rough. If you are a last-minute packer or to-do list traveler, you need to have a travel skincare kit. At TBS, we decided to sit down and create the what 5 products you need in your travel skincare kit. We want your choices to be effective, efficient, and easy to travel with.
Cleanser
Cleanser can be a hard thing to choose to make while on vacation. We always recommend using two types of cleansers in our daily skincare routine. On vacation, you may just want to bring one — either a gel or cream-based cleanser — to double cleanse your dead skin cells and makeup off. For a gel cleanser, we recommend Cosrx Low Ph Good Morning Gel Cleanser (from their travel kit) and Indie Lee Purifying Face Wash. For a cream cleanser, we recommend Paula’s Choice Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser and Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
Toner
This product will be a secret weapon to help your skin. From breaking down your dead skin cells to hydrating your skin, a toner is a need in your daily skincare routine and your travel routine. If you are looking for a hydrating toner, we recommend Indie Lee CoQ10 Toner (from their travel kit) and Peach & Lily Lazy Day’s All-In-One Moisture Pad.If you are looking for an exfoliating toner, we recommend Pixi Glow Tonic Mini and Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner.
Serum
You can continue working on your skincare routine from anywhere in the world with a good serum. They are fighting nutrients waiting to be used in a bottle. It depends on your current skincare routine and what you are looking for. We love Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Clinical Grade Ipl Dark Spot Correcting Serum and Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II Serum.
Moisturizer
If you are in a new climate, you still need a moisturizer to seal in all your products. If you prefer gel or cream textures, moisturizers are great at preventing a dry skin look. We recommended Paula’s Choice Clinical Ceramide-Enriched Firming Moisturizer and Bioderma Hydrabio Gel-Creme Light Moisturizing Care.
SPF
Sunscreens are an important part of any skincare routine. Even in a winter climate, your skin still needs SPF to protect it. We recommend taking a travel size SPF like in Supergoop Jet Set Travel Kit and COOLA Travel Size Classic Sunscreen Spray SPF 50.
Out of all these things, make sure you have a kit that can carry your precious skincare in your suitcase. Plus, you want the kit to be accessible if it is going in your carry on case. We love Beis travel cases like this one in pink and this one in black. We hope that you are traveling safely and in style.
