When any special event happens, it seems that you are searching for body care products that are reliable and have staying power. I think of it as the perfect time to elevate a look with a special routine and ritual. In this article, you will read three recommendations of products and techniques to use for special events.
Anti-Chafing Balm
Have you ever bought new shoes for an event but haven’t broken them in yet? That’s one of the main concerns I have when buying shoes. I tend to purchase any clothing and shoes that I can wear for a long time and break in. One of the products that I use to make it easier is a product called Body Glide. It is an occlusive anti-chafing balm that I place on the back of my feet and around other areas of my body that may have additional friction like bra straps, undergarments and even thighs. It’s perfect to pair with a foot cover on the back of your shoes or on your toes to prevent blisters.
Body Highlighter
If you want to look great in photos, never turn down a crème highlighter. One of my favorite products to use is the Strobe highlighter from MAC Cosmetics. Either I use my hands or a brush to apply on areas like my arms, collarbones, chest, back, and legs. I love to apply it after a body oil and a sunscreen spray for extra shine. The sunscreen and the crème highlighter give you this lovely glow effect.
Fragrance Booster
Finally, I have been trying pheromones as an additional boost to my fragrance routine. It has been a unique experience as pheromones tend to affect the senses for people who smell you close up. I love applying it for a special event or a date before my spray of perfume. One of my favorite pheromones that includes oud.
These are all of my recommendations for body care products for special events. Test things out by figuring out what products work on a daily basis versus hoping they work in the case of a special event. Do you have any favorite body care products that you like to wear for events? If so, what are they? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
