The International Esthetics, Cosmetics, & Spa Conference (IECSC New York) and International Beauty Show (IBS New York) came back to New York for its 2024 show. It is a three-day event filled with beauty innovations, brand exhibitions, and product displays. Our team was amazed by the extensive range of experiences that were available at the Javits Convention Center. We conversed and observed products from brands like Hydrafacial, LightStim, and Olaplex to learn more about upcoming trends and how they are supporting skilled estheticians.
This year, IBS New York Show introduced their first-ever range of masterclasses. We spent some time learning from Despina Daniilidis, the founder of PEAU’ésie, who discussed key practices, products, and services that she provides to ensure an inclusive spa. We had previously interviewed her in 2021 about her brand and efforts in client care.
In addition to the masterclasses, the IBS & IECSC NY Show revamped their offerings to ensure attendees could unwind and recharge at the Say Yes to You Hub. This haven of self-care provided free headshots, chair massages, and a plethora of content on mental and gut health. Personally, I enjoyed exploring upcoming market innovations such as head spas and hair color trends, which further enriched my experience at the event.
The event culminated with over 30,000 professionals attending to learn more about their industry and enhance their business skills.
